Minimum Submission and Selection Processes
Submission
- All the paper submission will be done through Easy Chair / EDAS/CMT conference management software.
- Reviewer assignment will be done using Easy Chair. The criteria for selection of reviewers will include holding a doctorate in the relevant field, having an excellent publications track record in high impact, peer-reviewed journals, to be an established expert in the field, and having adequate general knowledge of the sub-fields.
Minimum Specific Criteria for Selecting Papers
- Each submitted paper will be assigned to three independent reviewers on the basis of their area of expertise from the conference TPC (Technical Programme committee) list.
- Plagiarism check using the (Turnitin) and paper will accept if the similarity index in with threshold limits of acceptance (less than 15%-20%)
- Comments to be received from the Reviewer's based on the following minimum evaluation criteria for assessing the submitted papers:
- Suitability of the topic for the conference
- Originality of the research
- Usage of proper methodology
- State of the art research
- Technical quality of the paper
- Soundness of arguments and conclusions
- Language clarity
- Usage of relevant references
- On the basis of received review reports, decisions of "Acceptance" or "Rejection" will be made by the TPC Chair and Conference Chair(s) only.
- The submitted paper must be relevant with the field of tracks and sub-tracks proposed.
- Technical programme committee may try to accept an almost uniform number of papers in each of the tracks/ sub-tracks.
- Review process will be blind for authors.
- A maximum of 5 papers will be assigned to a single reviewer, in general.
- On the basis of received review reports, decisions of "Acceptance" or "Rejection" will be made by the TPC Chair and Conference Chair(s) only.
In case, the paper is rejected by one of the reviewers (without any technical reason) and accepted by the other two, then such cases will be consulted with the Advisory committee of the conference. Decision of further review of such cases will be taken by the Organizing Chair, TPC (Technical Programme committee) Chair and Publication Chair.
Work Flow of Assigning/ Accepting/ Rejecting Papers
- Reviews of papers will be done on rolling basis means as the submitted paper will follow the following steps before assigning to reviewers:
Plagiarism checks → Technical Program Committee → Reviewers.
- Authors of accepted papers have to submit revised papers incorporating all reviewers' comments.
- Each assigned paper to reviewers will be evaluated out of 8 Marks [point (a) to (f)] of point no. 3 of "Specific Criteria for Selecting Papers". Papers evaluated with score of marks equal or more than 5 may be considered for oral presentations and with score of marks between 3 to 5 may be considered for poster presentations. However, the exact criteria may be decided in due consultation with the Organization Chair, Advisory Committee Members and steering committee members.
Publication of Papers
- All the accepted and presented papers will be uploaded on IEEE Xplore with due permission and completion of formalities from IEEE.
- After completion of reviews all papers will be requested to submit mandatorily in the IEEE format, else will not be allowed for registration/ presentation.
- Depending on the review process, the accepted papers will be distributed for oral and poster publications.
Additional Points:
- All the review reports may be submitted to IEEE, if required.
- Both national and international TPC members of the conference will be actively participating in maintaining the quality of the conference.
- The chairs of all committees are not permitted to submit a paper.
